Hi Mr Jai Prakash has a very pertinent point to make. I wish to share it with all of you.

"Sir,
We, whole India is seeing what Raj Thackeray and its supporters are doing in Maharastra and the government is not effectively handling this issue due to vote bank politics. But we, general public can easily handle such kind of anti social – anti national elements just by doing economic boycott of all the goods & services produced in Maharastra. We should boycott all the Bollywood films produced by Maharastra based production houses. We should boycott stock & capital market whose head quarters are in Bombay such as BSE & NSE, we should use others like Calcutta stock exchange & others. We should not deposit loan EMI of banks whose head quarters are in Maharastra such as HSBC, citi bank etc. We also should not use goods which have been produced in Maharastra state.
I am sure if we will do such kind of boycott, then with in 4-5 days these anti social, anti national elements will be taught a lesson by their own supporters and Maharastian public and these people will be isolated & at last get automatic political death.
Our main enemy is not Raj Thackerey or Marathi people but this type of separatist regional tendency, if we will isolate them like this way the it will not be a lesson for only Raj Thackeray but all the people of all the states who have such kind of tendency. Sir, I urge you to have a look of this idea seriously.

Jai Parkash Gupta

Politicians like Raj Thackrey have got short tenure in the field of Politics. The person who divided his own family can't fool Maharastrian's by targetting on specific people.
He will see the results in upcoming Election.

Mumbai, the financial capital of India, is in the grip of violence & turmoil these days. All because of a novice politician who is hell-bent on proving himself as the greatest savior of Maratha pride second only to the legendary great Shivaji of 17th Century. This politician Raj Thackeray , the nephew of Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackray, and head of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Raj has been giving anti- North Indians statements for quite sometime and is ridiculing the festivals of Northern India (particularly the Chhat festival of Bihar). Just a few days back, he alleged the superstar Amitabh Bachchanji of not doing enough for Maharashtra and insulted him for his love for the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
Poor taxi drivers were dragged out of their taxis and were brutally beaten by them, the stalls of many daily hawker were thrashed and many poor people were harassed just for their being an outsider in Mumbai.
In my opinion, these activists are not members of a political party. They are goons and criminals. The nation is in rage and strong protests against Raj Thackray have started in the country . In a democratic country like India, everybody has the right to move freely and earn his livelihood wherever he wants. Our constitution guarantees this by means of Fundamental Rights. There are no discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion or any regional basis. But Mr. Raj appears to be totally ignorant about our constitution and its contents. He is behaving like a novice and his actions have already made him extremely unpopular among the masses.
Let me tell you about something about North Indian people living in Mumbai. I get this information from a leading newspaper of India.
In its population of 1.5 Crore (15 millions), Mumbai has 30% people of North Indian origin. This figure includes the population of Mumbai and its surrounding suburbs. If you add the percentage of South Indians and Gujarati/Marwaris living in Mumbai, you will find that almost 82% people living in Mumbai are outsiders and only 18% of the population is the original native of Maharashtra. Among all the Hindi speaking people in Mumbai, 80% belongs to UP & Bihar. The maximum among these are from the districts of Eastern UP like Benaras, Jaunpur, Ajamgarh, Pratapgarh, Allahabad and Basti. Some of the most essential services in Mumbai are being provided by these people. The trades related to Dairy, Milk production, education, Paan (betel leaf), Taxi transport, Flour Mills, Vegetables, Security Guards and junk items are being managed by North Indians in Mumbai. In fact these people have become part and parcel of the life in Mumbai and they are doing their best in making this city the financial hub of India. As such a blatant attack on them is likely to hamper the overall functioning of the city. Further this does not bode well for the rest of the country as well.
Mr. Raj Thackray has been a struggling politician since the time he separated from his parent party Shiv Sena. He is behaving like a flop actor who, despite his fading popularity, tries to be in the lime light by making sensational scene in the public.
Raj is a great admirer of Hitler. He once said on his birthday:
“Hitler had everything. The one thing he did not have was the ambition to conquer the world,” Raj said, adding, “you can draw whatever conclusions you want from my remarks.”
Mr Raj ! your are not living in the Nazi Germany of 1939. You are living in India of 21st century. Please don’t try to repeat what Hitler did during those times. It will backfire on you very heavily.

This comment is about the current formula being applied by or rather propagated on Honorable Maharani.

It is not very promising, the way the Maharani is giving tickets to the persons from dominating communities, and asking its own core vote bank to simple vote for these dominating persons.

The original vote base, who were marginalized and oppressed in whole history and mythology, and now happily being pushed to vote for people from same communities responsible for the dismal state of people who are the backbone of the party.

The party and the vote bank of the party is simply being used by the dominant communities those had major influence on the (mis-)culture of the country.

The party is almost forced to give tickets to the person from dominating party, and party backbone voters and supporters are asked to compromise on the ticket. The whole game is one-way, as the vice-versa is not acceptable at all to these dominating communities, where the candidate is from the backbone voters and the dominants community is asked to accept the candidature and vote for the candidates, who actually represent the party's fundamental vote base.

Such suggestions are outrightly rejected by the dominant communities in most of the constituency with recent post bypoll election fiasco.

Despite the numbers in hand, why the Maharani need to compromise and share the power with people who always oppressed and still oppressing the same people in the name of caste, creed and religion?

The Madam's party, should take the support from the communities, not having hidden agendas, and in principle transparent with no record of discrimination based on color of skin or birth community.

I despite a socialist in heart (Even Lord Krishna was socialist and his philosophies are heavily discounted for democratic socialism) would like to see,

1) the time, when the actual votes from the Honorable maharani's party is enjoying the power and so called dominant communities are accepting the fact the power is based on demographic strength, not the based on divisive game, as been played through out the history.

2) the time, when mythological book are accepted being doctored to achieve and to maintain the dominance of certain communities.

3) the time, when society will accept each individual as a participant of the cosmic game with no better or worse role.

4) the time, where academics (de)merits are insignificant and have no hindrance in chasing the passion of life.

5) the time, where the strong will is good enough to make some one eligible to participate in education and learning.

6) the time, where people are known by first name.

The mythology says about current Kali Age, where people from historically marginalized communities will rule the earth, and provide justice against the atrocities done on them.

By, sharing the power with the dominant people, the Maharani is hurting the sentiments of the people, who can die for the party.

Party like SP, which bring the life to BSP in early days of incubation, need to help people, of these communities,
realize the fact the Maharani is parting away the share of power, which belong to these communities.

Gentlemen,
What Jai Prakash said about boycotting BSE, NSE is just not practical. Many scrips are not listed on CSE(Kolkata). The constitution of India allows everyone to practice any profession anywhere in India. Anyone who doesnt want to allow this goes against the constitution and must be disqualified by the EC. Also political parties should come forward and demand disqualification of the party from fighting elections. Will they do it? Common men dont have the means of moving the sleeping EC.

THE ELEPHANT TRUMPLES ITS MAHAWAT

The EC has finally shown some courage to ask BSP to go for a new symbol. All parties should throw their weight behind this drive and ensure that Mayawati loses her election symbol. She has used millions of public money to build memorials and parks which will bring(in her dreams) some revenue to the state. She has pushed the state back by decades and has the guts to ask for millions in central aid in the name of drought. The new budget again allocates a huge sum for building yet another memorial. I wish the parties raise this issue in national debate and watch the elephant trample the proud mahawat. I just noticed the word Mahawat rhymes with Mayawati.
